Win a $250 Fuel Card Promotion - Terms & Conditions

1. The ‘Win a $250 Fuel Card’ promotion is offered by Rivtec Limited of 4 Hotunui Drive, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060.

2. The promotion runs from 23 August 2023 until 31 August 2023. It is open to all eligible Rivtec contacts who receive an invitation by electronic means, and/or complete the online survey during the promotion dates.

3. Rivtec employees, suppliers and contracted resellers, and their immediate families, are not eligible to participate. “Immediate families” means the husband, wife, spouse, parent, siblings, and children (including step parent, sibling and children). We may require proof of an entrant's eligibility in the event that there is a doubt over his/her eligibility for the Promotion. 

4. All existing eligible Rivtec contacts who are subscribed to receive emails from Rivtec during the dates of the promotion will receive one automatic entry into the draw. All eligible contacts who complete the survey at any time during the promotion in its entirety will receive a second entry in the draw.

5. Prize draw will be conducted within seven days of completion of the promotion. The prize is for one $250 Fuel Card. The first valid entry drawn in the draw will win the prize.

6. We will take reasonable efforts to notify the prize winner by phone or email within seven days of the prize draw. If the prize winner cannot be contacted within this time frame the prize will be redrawn and a new winner selected at our discretion. 

7. Our decision on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

8. We accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize. The prize is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If for any reason a prize winner does not redeem the prize or any element of the prize within the time chosen by us, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize or that element of the prize. 

9. We reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms. 

10. We may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this promotion as a whole, or all or part of these terms, at any time and for any reason and shall not be liable to any entrant or prize winner for any loss or damage incurred as a result. 

11. Any personal information collected about individuals as part of this Promotion will be collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Except for liability that may not by law be excluded, we shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms, the promotion and/or taking the prize for any cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by any entrant or prize winner, even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable.

13. Information on how to enter the survey and the prize forms part of these terms. Participation in this survey is deemed acceptance of these terms. 

14. These terms are governed by New Zealand law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
